Kombucha/Yogurt/Kefir Demonstration

What you will learn:  In this class you will see how to prepare Kombucha, make Yogurt and Milk Kefir. All three of these are fermented products, which are very healthy and delicious.

What you will sample: We will have samples of Kombucha made with Rishi Tea and Organic sugar, Real Greek Yogurt with all the beneficial lactic bacteria, strained to its creamiest consistency, and Milk Kefir, considered to be the healthiest of all-natural probiotics.

What is included: Complete instructions on how to make Kombucha, Yogurt and Milk Kefir at home without need to purchase costly tools, samples of Kombucha, Yogurt and Milk Kefir, and all supplies necessary to make these products to include: Kombucha SCOBY, glass jar with cover cloth, pH strips, starter tea from Rishi Tea, Organic sugar, packet of Yogurt starter, fresh Kefir Grains.

Instructor: Steve Shapson

Bio: Steve Shapson has been instructing in the culinary arts for over 15 years, which include cheese/yogurt/kefir/kombucha making, edible mushroom cultivation. Sour dough bread is his latest passion after having three friends introduced him to the wonderful taste.
