Join us for a mural installation by artist Melissa Courtney sponsored by the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin health network! Enjoy food, drink and shopping specials during the installation on Monday, Nov 18th and Tuesday, Nov 19th. The mural will be located inside of the Mequon Public Market on the south wall of the building near Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. and Beans & Barley. Melissa Courtney, a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, has worked in the creative industry for 20 years. Her focus has been broad and diverse over 20 years, spanning from mentoring children and adults in the art processes, showing and selling paintings throughout the U.S. and Canada, and the business of art. Currently Courtney partners with Reginald Baylor Studio, a brand icon that manufactures, broadcasts and serves the creative industry culture. Courtney’s designs can be found on products, interior and exterior landmarks under the Poindexter + Prissy name. She has a focus on vintage textiles, and iconic 1960’s imagery. Besides bringing a beautiful burst of color to the Mequon Public Market, the mural is meant to inspire health and wellness.
